Last week I continued with my iterations, and created 15 of them all together. I also learned how to use the FFD 4x4x4 and FFD 3x3x3 modifiers, which I used on my models.

DSDN 112: Project 1 Update
In the 112 studio on 23/7/12 we looked at fun and useful objects, and brainstormed how they were affected by the different senses.

DSDN 104: Working On My First Iterations.
I have started working on my first few iterations for my first DSDN 104 project. I started out in SolidWorks and created a model based off a combination of my precedents and some sketches I had done previously. I then transferred the model in 3ds Max to edit it.

DSDN 104: 3ds Max Practice
In the second DSDN 104 tutorial we played around with Solid Works, and used 3ds Max for the first time. Here is a screenshot of the model i made, I tested some of the different textures and tools, (Such as twist, lattice, and ripple).

This sketch is a lot of fun to play around with because it has many different aspects you can change; from the speed of the colour jets to the size of the mouse brush. Having so many interchangeable aspects makes it really interesting as you can try so many different things.
